Peak Performance Buoyancy

Course Overview
If you want to fine tune your buoyancy and soar over reefs and wrecks, extend bottom time by reducing air consumption and prolong the life of your dive equipment, then the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is the one for you! It’s only a one-day course but it will enhance your diving for a lifetime!

What do I need to start?
You will be a certified Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation). Minimum age is 10 years old. Check out the PADI Medical Form to make sure you don't need to have a medical before you start the course.

What will I do?
After watching the Peak Performance Buoyancy Video, you'll use PADI's basic weighting guidelines to approximate your correct weighting. Then, over two open water dives, you'll conduct a buoyancy weight check, fine-tune your buoyancy underwater and adjust weight positioning for trim. You'll also practice streamlining your equipment and visualisation.
