Emergency First Response
Course Overview
Emergency First Response (EFR) is the fastest growing international CPR, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid training organisation. Whether you’re a diver or non-diver, Emergency First Response will prepare you to handle situations all the way up to the potentially life-threatening. It will make you feel confident that you can provide care should an emergency situation arise. An important skill for everyday life and for all the family!
What do I need to start?
Absolutely no prior experience or certifications are required. There is no minimum age limit. The course is for anyone of any age.
What will I do?
The course incorporates independent study to prepare you for a classroom hands on session. You will learn the same patient care techniques used by the medical profession but at a lay person level.
How long will it take?
Depending on the amount of home study undertaken, the course can be completed in as little as four hours.
What is included in the course price?
Absolutely everything is included. There are no hidden costs! You will receive your manual, the use of all equipment for the course, and your certification once completed.
When can I start?
The course starts as soon as you receive your manual! Check out our Course Diary for the next course date or call us!
Where can I go from here?
Many divers take the EFR course in order to meet program pre-requisites for the Rescue Diver and Divemaster Courses. But the skills learned on the course may be considered to be fundamental life skills for all the family.
