Discover Scuba Diving
Course Overview
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme allows you to experience the thrill of diving in a pool or pool like conditions. During your adventure you’ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills.
What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can take part in PADI Discover Scuba Diving. Check out the PADI Medical Form to make sure you don’t need to have a medical before you come along. Minimum age is 10 years.
What will I do?
You’ll be briefed using either a video or flip chart, kitted up and then enter the water for your scuba adventure!
How long will it take?
Your experience will last approximately half a day.
What is included in the course price?
Absolutely everything is included as appropriate. There are no hidden costs!

Where can I go from here?
Once you’ve completed your Discover Scuba Diving experience, you are on your way to an internationally recognised certification. That’s because you may learn skills used in the Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba adventure. If you and your instructor elect to practice these skills, they may be credited toward the PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.
