Course Overview
The PADI Underwater Photographer Specialty Course can help you learn how to take your first underwater photographs or fine tune your existing skills to produce that will stun your friends and give you hours of pleasure.
What do I need to start?
You will be a certified Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation). Minimum age is 10 years old. Check out the PADI Medical Form to make sure you don't need to have a medical before you start the course.
What will I do?
You'll learn the basics of underwater photography such as composition with special emphasis on practical techniques. You'll learn underwater photography dive planning and procedures, techniques and problems. You'll also learn how to care for and maintain your equipment.
How long will it take?
The course can be conducted in a little over a day.
What is included in the course price?
Your Underwater Photographer manual, use of standard dive equipment as required and use of an underwater camera (or you can bring along your own).
