Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox)

Course Overview
Enriched Air allows you to stay underwater longer and get back into the water sooner! The Enriched Air Diver course is designed to qualify recreational divers to use Enriched Air ("Nitrox") for no-decompression recreational diving. It covers the use of Enriched Air with 22% to 40% oxygen, with an emphasis on Enriched Air with 32 and 36 per cent oxygen. The course emphasises both the theoretical and operational considerations involved with Enriched Air Diving. Uniquely, you can get your Enriched Air Certification whilst simultaneously completing dives for other PADI courses. Package prices are available on request.

What do I need to start?
You will be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation) or be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with proof of at least 10 dives logged beyond training dives for certification. Minimum age is 15 years old. Check out the PADI Medical Form to make sure you don't need to have a medical before you start the course.

What will I do?
You'll spend a day in the classroom covering knowledge development and practical operational application, as well as an exam to ensure that you have grasped the concepts. You will then conduct two dives using enriched air. Remember that you can combine the enriched air dives with another course for double the fun!

How long will it take?
The course is normally conducted over two days. Day one includes your theory sessions, day two includes your two open water dives.

What is included in the course price?
Your Enriched Air Diver Crew Pak, all your tuition, standard scuba equipment as required and your nitrox fills.

When can I start?
Your course starts as soon as you receive your Enriched Air Diver Crew Pak or when you sign up for the PADI Elearning Online Course! Check out our Course Diary for the next course date or call us!

Where can I go from here?
This Speciality Course counts as one of the five speciality certifications required for Master Scuba Diver Certification.
