Drift Diver

Course Overview
Drift Diving is effortless and relaxing! You simply glide with the current and watch the underwater world go by! But with this type of diving come some special procedures that you need to know to maximise your fun underwater.

What do I need to start?
You will be a certified Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation). Minimum age is 12 years old. Check out the PADI Medical Form to make sure you don't need to have a medical before you start the course.

What will I do?
You'll learn about drift dive planning, organisation and potential hazards, special equipment and special procedures. You'll then go on to do two open water dives where you can put your knowledge into action!

 

How long will it take?
Provided you've completed your knowledge reviews, the course can be completed in as little as one day!

What is included in the course price?
Your Drift Diver manual, 2 boat dives and standard scuba equipment. You'll be expected to have your own SMB and reel. These can be purchased from us at our special Drift Diver rate if you wish!
